Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

what do you all think about this British game show and the use of game theory?

That game is hilarious as a thing, and kudos to that guy for working it.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The only thing I did today except go grocery shopping and be overly warm is discover that the sushi place next to the nearby Safeway has half price rolls at lunch time on Saturdays too.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

That guy had some brass balls, right?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That was hilarious. Well played, sir.

Our wings are not tired.

Seafood! Choose seafood!

Tomorrow I plan on gorging myself at the seafood fest. We went to the park. It is in the mid-70s and a few hundred other non-ticketed folks were hanging in the park coming from all over the area on their bikes and on foot with the dogs. Super nice. They did 25 or 6 to 4 for the finale. So glad we went over.

I can still hear the sounds from seafood fest too. We have few weekends left before it gets too hot to enjoy being outside so the various cities are holding just one event after another.

I love your patio.

You should visit again! Everyone should visit me in the winter or spring. I'll visit you guys in the summer and fall. As glorious and March is, September is just gruesome.

Our wings are not tired.

And for the trifecta before closing the laptop, I checked the entertainment schedule for tomorrow and at 6:45 - Never Stop Believin' - the Ultimate Journey tribute band. Sounds perfect accompaniment to plastic cups of wine and seafood.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I had a pretty nice and active day today: architectural walking tour in the morning, walked about a half mile from the library to and from the music fest in the park this afternoon (it turned out to be slow bluesy country, so I only stayed to enjoy the sun for a little over an hour), drove to a crawfish hut in a nearby town for dinner, then took a 90-minute walking ghost tour of the downtown area near my apartment. I feel I've made up for having my daily walk cancelled by rain yesterday.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

That sounds lovely, both Laura & Matt.
