I'm still pretty sad and angry, all things considered.
ION, this is interesting: A guy who has been in IT here for 25 years is leaving to go back to school to become a kindergarten teacher! I kind of love that.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Roger Ebert just shared the article on Facebook, and the comments are hysterical.
Wow, those comments went from zero to 'splaintastic at the speed of light +5. The Internet is already full of comment threads that prove the thesis (is there a named law for that? There should be), but that has got to be a record.
I am tired. I think I need to have something serious enough to keep me out of work for about a week, but not serius enough to require hospitilization. probably should be something with a contagain risk. mono?
I've always wanted to call in sick with a case of death rattle....
mono will lay you out for months, msbelle! If you want a week, I say go with flu. Or better yet, just a really bad cold that you can convince everyone is actually the flu.
It's all just dreaming anyway. I need a Dr. note after 3 consecutive days and until E is in school I would need to drive him into camp which is just as far as work.

Pinkeye
I am very much in the same boat. Last wednesday I was on vacation, and got to meet up with Buffistas and eat oysters and watch SYTYCD, and this week I have to go to work and I don't wanna
Pinkeye only gets you one day off, IME. Although I was just saying yesterday that I'm kind of ready to be sick... It's been a long time! And when it actually happens, I will be miserable and complain-y, FTR.
Every time I fake a sick day, I get sick for real as soon as I come back to work.

Me too! It is really annoying. It is possibly because I fake sick, it is because I feel a little off, but am not really sick. It is probably the beginning of the sickness.
