We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

It's an online Harry Potter game book experience thing. You experience "moments" from the book, get sorted into a house, can duel other students in spells, make potions, do other things to earn House Ponts, and read some commentary from JKR.

I don't currently own a microwave. It's not that bad, really.

San Miguel Market

Oooh, we went there! Although we called it a mini-Ferry Building. That's where we finally got the bacalao we'd kept failing to get in other places on the trip.

Don't forget to go to Valor for chocolate & churros! [link]

Also, I am babysitting my 4-year-old niece today and I'm EXHAUSTED. Went to the zoo on the hottest day of the year, forgot sunscreen. She's fine, but I got burned. bah.

I took a nap, she wasn't tired yet! Now she's watching Yo Gabba Gabba on my Kindle while I catch up on B.org.

Our wings are not tired.

9/10 on the quiz. Dumb guess on the speed of rotation thing. I should have actually known that. I think I only had to guess on one other.

4 year-olds have an amazing amount of energy.

Chicago is playing at an outdoor amphitheater about a mile from my house in 15 minutes. I usually can hear events there so I am hoping for good wind direction.

I gotta say, thank goodness for the Kindle. She's watching Blues Clues on Instant Streaming now. It's amazing how comfortable kids are with technology now.

Oooh, Chicago. 25 or 6 to 9. "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?"

Hah. We used to play 25 or 6 to 4 in pep band but it was one of the songs we figured only alumni recognized.

So seriously first world problem here. As it happens tonight there is the Pompano Beach Seafood Fest 10 blocks to my south with a huge live music tent. Chicago playing in the park a mile to my west. And DH just got home and reports that a neighbor a couple blocks away is setting up for a party, with a live band. They are between me and Chicago. I just went outside to check out the sound quality and so far I mostly hear the seafood fest music and boat traffic. We may have to walk over to the park. Sigh. Thought I was going to get to just listen on my patio.
