I don't think I'm ever going to understand Tumblr.

Uh, to severely understate things, I think that's a stretch. Unless this person is identifying people as queer for them because they ship same sex pairings?

It seems like Tumblr is full of 14 year olds who think they're inventing fandom*. Weirdly, I can believe that within the very narrow confines of Tumblr-fandom, a lot of those girls identify as queer.
* That we** exist seems to kind of freak many of them out.

The Tumblr meme of "reblog if you're over 16!!!" will never not be funny to me. Kiddos, I have shoes older than some of you.

I think I'm going to start adding long skirts (and petticoats) back into the daily wardrobe, come autumn. I've been seeing a lot of them I like, lately.

I was listening to NPR while driving to lunch and I heard the opening segment and after that, I clicked off the radio. I was just not in the mood to be crying openly in a rental car in a Mexican food parking lot.
