Okay, I am coming to realise I am not excited about a December wedding in Baltimore.

You totally should be!! Those are the BEST kinds of weddings!

Also, it is sometimes not terribly cold here in December. As long as it's an indoor wedding (and I'm terribly curious about where it is!) you can do fancy dress and a warmish wrap. You don't need to get all bundled up.

Yeah, December isn't too bad. I totally was not bundled up for lisah's!

In the 15 feet from my car to the door, I got 3 mosquito bites. All on my toes. Itchyitchy.

Toe bites are the WORST!

I was just looking at pictures from my wedding and nobody is really bundled up. And that was a cold for December weekend!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You can always check your coat! You just need a coat.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

A cloud of mosquitos descended on me through my open car window at the ATM this morning. Bloodletting is not a service I want my bank to provide.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Am I really the first person to post this? Where's billytea?

A new Jillifont has been found, and this one has claws !

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

ita !, Bleeding Cowboy, everyone loves it.

I think.

I have coffee, provided by the lovely amyth, whose birthday it is! Happy birthday!!!

I need to find a 40th birthday outfit. I also need to perform a 40th birthday party full-house dirt exorcism. Ugh.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Arrgh.

My water heater's pilot light has gone out and I am having trouble relighting it. I DO NOT NEED THIS RIGHT NOW UNIVERSE, I AM BUSY!

I should be at the farmer's market right now buying gifts for the tour peoples' spouses, but instead I am here fuming.

I guess I should go ahead and go as fast as I can and then try to relight again when I get home.

Because nothing else is going to be able to be done until it finishes, dishes, shower, whatnot. And honestly, we probably shouldn't host if I can't get it done. ARRGH!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

A new Jillifont has been found

Trogloraptor is a pretty badass genus name.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yeah--the "it's not that cold" and "you need a coat" are mutually exclusive propositions to me, because I know which coats you're not talking about. Googling tells me the temperature is typically between 37 and 44, which is way colder than I signed up for leaving Michigan. That's heavy coat weather, and not the sleeveless mini dress that was top of the list for the next wedding (assuming it fits).

Maybe I'll get a tux...I hope it wouldn't make my mother apoplectic.

Steph, I used Bleeding Cowboy for a Big Bang illustration, and one of the few negative comments I got in the anon meme was "Why did she have to ruin it with that overused font?". I swear I'd never seen it before, and it's distinctive, dammit.

Totally jacked something up at work. We have changes going in this weekend, and I don't have written approvals. Like, my boss has approved it in the Shadow meeting, but my manager has to explicitly send an email with her approval, and the business owner too, and I never collected them. I've tracked down the business, but mot my manager. Jesus. Such an idiot move. I should be able to have this many balls in the air, but at 4:30 a developer in IL emails me to say "Oh, we're bringing this company onto your system by the end of the month, okay?"

WTF? We have three stressful projects going on with that system till the end of September. How can a developer in my team be blindsiding me with this now?
