Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Kat understands entirely. That movie has a triple thumbs down from me, but even seeing it to delete it gives me a full body shudder. Apparently it was an education in "the movie you sign for" and "the movie that's released". Not that it affect Colin much, just that Diane Keaton had a much smaller role initially, but she strongarmed her way into making it so much more about her, and it's awful.

msbelle, she's Canadian. Apparently she was in Black Swan which I never saw. I know her from a Sy Fy (originally Canadian) series called Lost Girl where she plays the "side kick" who is a much better actress than the lead actress, and a much cooler character than the lead character. It could have been one of those oh-so-annoying-did-she-eat-the-radium-again roles, but even though she does her due amount of fucking up I'd totally pick her for my team.

And she's so pretty! I want to dress her up and do her hair! I never want to do that to anyone. But she's like a doll! A Latvian doll! Want for my collection. Can I have a Ksenia, Mummy?

eta: msbelle--that's exactly the one I chose, BTW. Though I think her La Liz ones are some of the nicest I've seen with the least work. Basically brow shaping and makeup.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Kat, yay for pizza, and I'm sorry about the drive home crying. I wish I could make it better.

This one and the next two are pysanky H made. Unfortunately, the ones he made before he damaged his hand were given away as wedding and housewarming gifts. These I managed to hang onto, on pain of unending complaint if he tried giving any of these away. The older ones had much finer, more intricate lines. I regret not having at least one of them.

I do not understand tumblr. This is nothing like the charity Biker dudes, who deserve to be tearing up the reblogosphere.

Nah, it's this: [link] and apparently it's gotten its 400 reblogs BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE SHE HAS NO LEGS BELOW THE KNEES.

Admittedly, I started that discussion, because I said someone else said that, but apparently I don't have Judgmental Gothic Let installed on the new computer. YET.

What motivates you, humanity?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I like 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 10. ita !

I ony saw the first ep of the show she's on, but I Was really confused, because I thought she was the protag! She so much cuter and sexier than the purported heroine.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Bev, those are beautiful! I marvel at the ability to do that with a wax resist.

He does do nice work. Thanks, Kat.

So we're watching Murdoch Mysteries on Netflix, and hello, there's Spike, from Flashpoint. I hope ION is getting new Flashpoint episodes, at least eventually.

ita, number 7 looks very Liz Taylor-esque, but I like all of those, with the exception of the first one.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But she also wants it to NOT record the Diane Keaton one. I think that's the issue.

Gotcha. Yeah, I'd settle for a SQL command line on my Tivo. I frequently wish I could troll the interpipes for: Movie + International + Date Range (1960-1969) -"Ursula Andress" or something similar.

Let me query!

The lead character is a succubus. But she's not sexy. She's pretty, but it's a distant, carved kind of pretty. When I've raised this before, I've been told "She has powers. You can't feel them through the TV."

Okay, I've you've never been across the table from someone who just decided to get sexy, I'm only sad for you if you had wanted to. But...you've never seen an actor flip the on switch on TV or in a movie?

How can you have missed this? You've never seen Denzel, Jensen, Morena go from businesslike to, well, business? It's totally something you can project through a TV screen and a movie screen...and this actress doesn't turn anything on. Her powers are all CGI. Ksenia looks much better sexifyng.

Hmmph.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

ita, I like this one because she reminds just a bit of Plei in it.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Yay for no bedbugs! Too bad there isn't, like, Avantage for humans. Or at least for those humans who are obscenely delicious to bitey things.

And for your daily Ukrainian lesson, pysanky is plural for multiple eggs decorated in the Ukrainian style, while a single one is a pysanka. Kat, that's a super lovely one and looks like it's done on a brown egg shell, maybe from someone's pet hen?
