Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The lead character is a succubus. But she's not sexy. She's pretty, but it's a distant, carved kind of pretty. When I've raised this before, I've been told "She has powers. You can't feel them through the TV."

Okay, I've you've never been across the table from someone who just decided to get sexy, I'm only sad for you if you had wanted to. But...you've never seen an actor flip the on switch on TV or in a movie?

How can you have missed this? You've never seen Denzel, Jensen, Morena go from businesslike to, well, business? It's totally something you can project through a TV screen and a movie screen...and this actress doesn't turn anything on. Her powers are all CGI. Ksenia looks much better sexifyng.

Hmmph.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

ita, I like this one because she reminds just a bit of Plei in it.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Yay for no bedbugs! Too bad there isn't, like, Avantage for humans. Or at least for those humans who are obscenely delicious to bitey things.

And for your daily Ukrainian lesson, pysanky is plural for multiple eggs decorated in the Ukrainian style, while a single one is a pysanka. Kat, that's a super lovely one and looks like it's done on a brown egg shell, maybe from someone's pet hen?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Yay on no bed bugs, Pix!

Of course I have no idea why the hell IS eating me.

Are you sure they are bites and not some sort of allergic reaction to something?

I promised myself I wouldn't let my apartment slip so quickly back into a mess, but...nah, I can get back on top of it when I got home...or tomorrow.

The ironing board stays up in the living room, though. Because I *really* need to iron. There are clothes I haven't worn in months just because they've had the impunity to be woven from cotton.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

What gets me about Ksenia Solo are her pale blue eyes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Every day I think I'm going to get my apartment into shape, but tomorrow is really that day.

ION, my too-long hair has come out the other side, and now I like it. Also the weather here has been much more bearable. So I guess I'll keep it. The other bonus is that it looks great on Day Three.

My boss is going on vacation at noon and I'm already plotting leaving at 4:30, although that would be setting a terrible example for the new people.

Somebody remind me not to taunt the Birther on Facebook who thinks that asking Mitt Romney to show his tax returns is altogether wrong.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Ooh, me too, Jesse. I made it through the summer, and it has gotten long enough to not do the flippy thing so bad. Although it does look quite 70's feathered at times. But I think I can cope with that and I'll be able to put it up in a bun over winter.

I am totally getting my place into shape. I have that two-days-out optimism right now that believes I am going to get everything done that I want to. I don't know if this is in any way true, but right now I totally believe it. I will have to have two days like yesterday's productivity, but I think it's possible. Need to make a plan, though.
