Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Woot! My superiors had a meeting today with clients who gave effusive praise for the initial work my company did on a new project, and my artwork specifically. Nice to get talked up kindly after frantically busting my ass to get work done.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wish there was a way to tell my TiVo "anything with Colin in it, just in case, except that Diane Keaton piece of shit."

He had his missteps before Eureka, but that was by far the most horrible to watch, through no fault of anyone but Keaton and the people that let her have her way.

Okay--looking for the first few answers, vintage bullshit consensus style. Which picture of Ksenia Solo that I just put up (all 10) should I post to the provocateuse tumblr? I think she's lovely in them all, but I like the photography in the last one best, though I don't think that's the one that shows her off best, if that makes sense.

msbelle, when do you need the nanny to start?

There is. You set a Wishlist for a particular actor, and set it to automatically record.

Every once in a while I had something pop up in my To Do que and it was because I'd had it set for an actor.

You can also do directors.

But she also wants it to NOT record the Diane Keaton one. I think that's the issue.

I have 50 more papers to go (just finished the first class and now on to the second). This is on top of the 90 I did yesterday and have already returned.

I am so fucking tired it's unreal, but if I can finish, it's codeine, cough syrup and sweet sweet sleep for me.

Kat, ideally next week sometime. School starts 8/27.

ita - I like the 3rd from top best - it looks like just her, not het playing a role. who is she anyway? never heard or seen before.

brillig

I feel like unto a tech god! I finally found some instructions for synching my Palm Tungsten E2 with my 64-bit Win7 laptop, when the Palm people swear the two are not compatible. It involved a 3rd party set of drivers, but I'm going to hope that the demographic of ancient PDA users is too small for virus makers to want to use them as Trojan horses.

Kat understands entirely. That movie has a triple thumbs down from me, but even seeing it to delete it gives me a full body shudder. Apparently it was an education in "the movie you sign for" and "the movie that's released". Not that it affect Colin much, just that Diane Keaton had a much smaller role initially, but she strongarmed her way into making it so much more about her, and it's awful.

msbelle, she's Canadian. Apparently she was in Black Swan which I never saw. I know her from a Sy Fy (originally Canadian) series called Lost Girl where she plays the "side kick" who is a much better actress than the lead actress, and a much cooler character than the lead character. It could have been one of those oh-so-annoying-did-she-eat-the-radium-again roles, but even though she does her due amount of fucking up I'd totally pick her for my team.

And she's so pretty! I want to dress her up and do her hair! I never want to do that to anyone. But she's like a doll! A Latvian doll! Want for my collection. Can I have a Ksenia, Mummy?

eta: msbelle--that's exactly the one I chose, BTW. Though I think her La Liz ones are some of the nicest I've seen with the least work. Basically brow shaping and makeup.
