"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Aww, that's nice, Kat. Sorry for the angry day! Teaching should not be like this.

Go afterschool care, though! Although yipes on the price tag. I cannot afford children.

And ooh, there's the rain, finally! And I got everything done I wanted to, except finish the deck, which will require more supplies than I currently have because, eww, mouse droppings potentially carrying disease! I'm pretty sure they don't have hanta, what with me not being dead already, but it's still pretty yuck, so the final deck clean-up will have to wait until tomorrow.

But I think I am going to make it all the way through my to-do list today! WTF? I don't remember that ever happening before. It involved me rescheduling some things, but, hey, that counts. Anyway, all I have left for today is the entryway, and the microwave.

Tomorrow I've got the cars, the guestroom, grocering and the studio. I'd like to get the studio in really awesome shape, both so that the SO can enjoy it, but also so he can show it off to the guy he's been touring with.

Ooh, which reminds me, I need to get the studio monitors back from the electronica guy who borrowed them over the summer. Wonder if I have his number? Better swing by the coffeeshop tomorrow I guess.

OK, tarsier sex? Is comical. When she's done, she's done, dude. The face is of "oh the hell no."

AND! a coworker just brought us a pizza. He lives nearby. He just thought we could use dinner.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I love Flashpoint. It's so Canadian. Also, Spike is my favorite geek. The final season airs on CTV starting this fall, but I haven't seen anything about when ION gets the new episodes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw, that's all nice, Kat.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Pretty pysanky, Kat! And I thank you for the word pysanky, which I didn't know before.

Tarsiers are not cute! Good grief. They look like a cross between E.T. and Yoda.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Also, Spike is my favorite geek

You say this like Hardison doesn't exist...

Zen, some people like sloths. I'm just saying.

TiVo found me a couple episodes of Alphas before I corrected the season pass. It's not worth watching all the repeats for, but Gary is fun. He's my second favourite non neuro-typical.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Woot! My superiors had a meeting today with clients who gave effusive praise for the initial work my company did on a new project, and my artwork specifically. Nice to get talked up kindly after frantically busting my ass to get work done.
