Angel: He is dead. Technically, he's undead. It's a zombie. Connor: What's a zombie? Angel: It's an undead thing. Connor: Like you? Angel: No, zombies are slow-moving, dimwitted things that crave human flesh. Connor: Like you. Angel: No! It's different. Trust me.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The instructions for my desk specifically say that you only need one adult to put it together.

It would seem that I don't qualify.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hah. Desk assembly instructionwriters are lying liars who lie.

Man, I just rushed around and got all sweaty trying to get outside stuff done before it rained. And then it didn't rain. So I came in to look at the radar map because it seemed like there was rain on three sides of me. You know why? Because there's rain on three sides of me. C'mon rain, I need you to loosen up the soil so tomorrow's weeding goes smoother.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Any Ruffalo flushing?

Yay no bedbugs! Sinai just found bedbugs in one of the multi-person chemo day treatment rooms. Which, honestly, I'm surprised doesn't happen more.

I bailed on burger night because while I can eat, biting into a burger is just not yet doable and watching them eat would have been depressing. Makes me sad.

An enormous scab just came out from between my teeth. Dental recovery is kind of revolting.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I keep forgetting how seriously Flashpoint (sometimes) take the people shooting. They just had their rookie kill his first person in an engagement, and they deal with his reaction and the coping mechanisms of his group, as well as the standard protocol that surrounds an officer shooting.

It's such a weird little show, and ION keeps showing it over and over and over. I think I must have seen the entire thing at least once in the past month. And there are three more episodes on my TiVo since this morning. I wonder how ACTRA is with residuals.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Any Ruffalo flushing?

Ha! I didn't hear any. For those not in Bitches, I worked in a condo today below one owned by Mark Ruffalo, and his flushes are apparently audible there. Says the project mgr who's been working there for months.

Flashpoint was so thoroughly enjoyable.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

For those not in Bitches, I worked in a condo today below one owned by Mark Ruffalo, and his flushes are apparently audible there. Says the project mgr who's been working there for months.

That's fantastic.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Tivo keeps suggesting Flashpoint for me. I should watch, huh?

My sis-in-law just texted to let me know the visitation for Dave's grandma went well today. I have very mixed emotions about not being there, but I do feel like we made the best call we could. But I'm glad it was good. Funeral is tomorrow.
