This is not funny. This... this is a morality tale about the evils of sake.

Because books.

It's clearly more sensible not to reply, because I found about fifteen I wanted to shriek at right away. But I limited myself to one.

I'm astounded by the stupid and the bitter and the toxic in the responses to that article. People really have nothing to do anymore but sit around and shit on other people's parades, do they?

No, they don't. This is why I don't have comments turned on over at the GCS site, why I have anonymous comments disabled on Tumblr, and why I tell people in general that there is NOTHING worth having anonymous commenting enabled anywhere.

People are sad. It's also amazing to read those responses without thinking, all this grow up and dress right stuff? Who gives a shit? Life is short, you have to enjoy it while you're living it.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Heh, Amy; I did the same.

I did kind of perversely like the one that called Jilli's wardrobe the kind of completely generic stuff anyone can pick up at Hot Topic. And it's completely boggling how many people are saying about both her and Mohawk Guy, "Fine, dress that way, but don't blame anyone else for blowing the job interview and being unemployed!" when the whole point of the article is that they are employed and their employers are perfectly content with them.

Who is responsible for the chimp feeding the baby tiger on Good Things?

That's the part that REALLY amuses me. Reading comprehension, anonymous internet peoples! You can maybe haz, if you try rilly rilly hard!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh god, this online training module is going to be awesome. I can tell because the avatar just said I would learn to "maximize my zones of excellence."

Oooh, I missed that one! If that were the case, a lot of my babygoths would be happy. Also, that poster has obviously not been in a HT for ages, because they don't really have goth stuff anymore.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Isn't it mostly "Team Edward" and Invader Zim t-shirts?

(Proving that I, too, haven't been NEAR a Hot Topic in years.)

Neon. The last time I was in one (looking for tights), it was a lot of neon. Nary a skull-decorated goody to be seen.
