3 hours of grinding and prying and banging ( well, ok 45 minutes of waiting around )and 3x the novocaine most people need, numb up to my eyebrow on half my face, and I have two new crowns. Seem fine, it's just going to be the gums that are pissed off when I can feel them again. Whenever that is. The one next to the canine is less pointy than the original for various reasons and that weirds me out, the lack of symmetry. But the other side will be done next year, so...
I thought I was doing pretty good with not being flinchy or tense, but then I almost fell asleep in the waiting room (which thankfully is very cushy) while the crowns were molding. I'm thinking this was some kind of trauma reaction because I was so hopped up on caffeine, post-swim energy and sudafed, that's really about the only explanation.
It would be totally ridiculous for me to go swimming again today. But I might need to chill out in the water.

I have a problem with business documents, it seems. My boss pointed at my use of the word "thrust" and says "I don't see that a lot". I'm all "I do, so whatever." No, I didn't say anything, actually. But I was just bored with the word objective. Surely that happens, right?
