Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Huh.

Signs you've married the right person:

When you are looking at ita's tumblr, and your husband is in the office, and he says, Scroll down, and you say, Oh, you've seen this SPN gif, and he says, Yeah, I follow her tumblr, and you say, Oh, did you follow it because of B.org, and he's all, No, I stumbled across it because of comics, and then you go @@

And then you do it again, and you get in the intertubes to talk about it immediately after you laugh and laugh and laugh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I stumbled across it because of comics

Bah ha ha!

God, life is so freaking random sometimes...or is it?

My husband has a big...comics Tumblr "follow." (Or whatever you call following 19 bazillion comics Tumblrs.)

His Twitter feed is all comp sec stuff; the Tumblr crosses the streams.

He knew who you were AFTER he stumbled across you randomly. (Did he tell me? NO.)

He has a B.org reg, but never uses it. I don't even.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Turns out Luna is hiding in the space between floors, which is accessible from the laundry room. Silly kitty....

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm sorry, Scrappy.

Job~ma, Gud.

I'm back in NC now, with a cat on my lap. It's good to be home, although northern MI felt really "home"-ish to me, too. But my people are here. (Also, my job and all my stuff.) Oh well. That's what vacation's for.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Job~ma, Gud. Are you with Solutions or Mobility? Only if you want to indulge my curiosity, of course.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Co-workers were griping about the closing ceremonies, that the people weren't important enough--when they had Beatles to pick from, etc. I reminded them that Macca had been in the opening ceremony, and that George Michael and Annie Lennox are huge (as are the Spice Girls, despite our mandatory disdain for them).

It's so weird to think that the musical section was organised by a guy who made it huge and was voted greatest British songwriter by anyone (presumably British) and there's been time for all that to happen since I graduated high school and left. Like, he had a whole career in that time, and I don't have a CBE.

Testing apple cider rooibos. This better not suck.
