Fred: So you don't worry that it's possible for someone to send out a biological or electronic trigger that effectively overrides your own sense of ideals and values and replaces them with an alternative coercive agenda that reduces you to a mindless meat puppet? Shopkeeper: Wow. People used to think that I was paranoid.

I get a badly rendered page with posters missing. Not sure what's up with that. Even on a new browser.

I often seem to be at the ends of the internet where change in webpages take forever to get to me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, thank god, maybe I'll get to see the pain specialist tomorrow. I feel like I've been crying for a week straight. Actually, it has been almost a week of tears.

My end of Canada seems to be particularly slow.

Good luck with your pain specialist, ita.

Consuela, I tried to make an onerous phone call today but got voicemail. And it wasn't a voice message I felt like leaving. I will try again tomorrow, from work.

Punishingly Intricate

That's good news about your mom, JenP. I've been thinking about you and her.

I was able to see my great aunt who fell last week in the hospital yesterday, with my brothers, so that was good. She didn't look too bad but they really won't know what they are going to do next until the swelling goes down, probably a week from now. The worst thing is that she's seeing double now. I really hope they can fix that or it goes away.

Thanks. 8:15 tomorrow morning. I don't know what he can do, but please god, can he do something?

After the presentation I made this afternoon, my boss called to see if I was alright, because I "sounded awful" and he'd heard I'd come in last week and "looked awful", and he wanted to know if I was okay. Uh, thanks?

Which is why I'm not answering the phone when my family calls, and I'm certainly not video conferencing with them, because I just don't want to deal with them dealing with this. It's bad enough when it's just me.
