Wesley: Illyria can be...difficult. Testing her might be hard without getting someone seriously hurt. Angel: We'll make Spike do it. Wesley: Good.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I eat at my desk because that is where the internets live, plus if I eat in the break room people might want to talk to me.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

That would be super annoying.

I am so fascinated by my student not being able to hear or read things correctly because they aren't familiar with the word (usually a name).

I asked my student to send an email, and to indicate in the email that the items she was sending were to help with Marilyn's questions.

My student wrote "Maryland".

I can't stop laughing!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Lee is me: also half the time the television in the break room is on Fox News, ick.

I've had to skip on Natter, so did this get picked up by the Good Things tumblr? [link]

Such an awesome story & photo.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I eat at my desk because that is where the internets live

That is the not-so-secret truth. I am eating on the couch right now, which is the home equivalent to eating at my desk, and it is for the same reason.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

No, but it will now!

I'm especially trying to load up the queue because I'm going to be offline for a long weekend.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

made a grab for my wet tea leaves in the strainer, picked them up, smelled them

NO NO NO NO NO. None of that is okay! Why would anyone think it is???

When I'm at the nicer of my two offices, I try to eat in the very lovely breakout area with the comfy chairs and curl up with a podcast or audiobook so people don't bother me. But when I'm at the shitty office, the break room is even more depressing than my desk, so I'd rather be where the interwebs are.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I eat at my desk because that is where the internets live

Yep, same here.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Eating at my desk most days is due to a number of factors: cheapness, dieting, time, not getting out in the heat.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I eat at my desk because that is where the internets live

I eat lunch at my desk maybe once a week. The other days I bring a laptop or iPad with me when I go out to lunch. (I can use the personal hotspot on my iPhone if there's no wifi.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Today I get to eat at home, because the people who installed insulation on Monday messed up something with the lights, so I have to go home to let them in to see if they can fix it.

I'll still be in front of the computer though.

YAY ?
