Eating at my desk most days is due to a number of factors: cheapness, dieting, time, not getting out in the heat.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I eat at my desk because that is where the internets live

I eat lunch at my desk maybe once a week. The other days I bring a laptop or iPad with me when I go out to lunch. (I can use the personal hotspot on my iPhone if there's no wifi.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Today I get to eat at home, because the people who installed insulation on Monday messed up something with the lights, so I have to go home to let them in to see if they can fix it.

I'll still be in front of the computer though.

YAY ?

Can any of the New Englanders help me with something? I've been trying to track down an obituary since Monday, but it hasn't been online, and I'm wondering if it's in the print edition of either the Globe or the Herald. The deceased is John Ludden, and he passed on Sunday the 5th. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Sorry, I don't have the actual paper. I'm sure it exists in my office building, but I have no idea where, since my department stopped getting them. Weird.

hip deep in pie

Technically we are not supposed to eat anywhere but the designated eating areas. But since we RM people don't have old records we often do anyway. We just have to sneak around from the food police.

I went out with some old coworkers for lunch and sat in the sun and drank a beer and I've been woozy ever since.
