Gah! I just checked my texts, and apparently my cuz is handing the athletes the J'can flag at the end of their sprints.
So cool!
My son woke me up at 6:30 and I am STILL CRANKY. He needs to learn to not do that. I've just declared my bed off limits on the weekends.
ION, the women's super-heavyweight weightlifting is now streaming.
Ooo, is that Sarah Roble? I read about her, and read some of her blog.
In our house the tchotchkes are the least of the clutter. In fact, I'd need to seriously declutter just to find them.
I am attached to a lot of my tchotchkes...
I've been awake since 5:30AM. I need to schedule a nap soon.

She'll be on in a few. The other US lifter, Holley Mangold, is up now.
Sarah Roble is made of awesome. So is Holley.
I am attached to most of them, but many for stupid reasons. I bet I can easily toss half. Obviously, tossing ALL would be easier in its own way, as long as I didn't look at any of them.
I do have some memento type things around, but mostly I try to keep it to things with a purpose -- picture frames or candles or boxes, for instance. My grandmother was tchotchke-mad with little animals and figurines and all kinds of stuff, and it always freaked me out.
Timelies all!
Just woke up about an hour ago. Now I have Nova on my lap, being pushy.(In other words, normal)

I'm only two degrees from Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce! She and Gabby Douglas have been my favorite Olympians.
Dear Suz
You take your thyroid meds in the morning because they do not work well with sleep. Taking them last night by accident? Is why you stared at the ceiling all night. You know better.
No love,
Me
