I usually tell my destination when I order the cab.
And the driver knows it? They always ask me regardless.

Yup. The app I use to order tells them my destination, if I type it in. Which I do. They confirm, but usually by reading it back to me.

Fancy! I always have to tell the dispatcher and then the driver as well.

(Yes, I suppose the rest of fandom had something to do with it, shut up, I want my toaster.)

Is anyone around who has the capability/willingness to extract a few pages from a larger pdf file? I don't have the right software to do it from home.
You ought to be able to copy and paste pages from Preview on the Mac, Lee.

For some reason the app says if I put in a message, it doesn't go to the dispatcher. But 50% of the time, they can't find the ER, so I call to complain, and the dispatcher reads back the message. It's not sensical.
How is Gob so pathetic? And, so help me god, the father twin confusion reminds me of Candy. Did anyone here read that porn book? Where Candy sleeps with her uncle and then her brain damaged father or something? It's been a while since I raided someone's porn collection and read it.
Unsurprisingly, not easy to google for a refresher. However, wikipedia comes to the rescue: [link]
