Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The Timelord victorious.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The body electric?

I don't think that's the same -- in "I sing the body electric," body is the direct object, and electric is the object complement, right? Or am I totally misreading that phrase?

I just looked up "trip the light fantastic," and it turns out that was originally "trip it as ye go, on the light fantastic toe." Which actually makes a lot more sense.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Man, in people don't all suck news, you know how music teachers are sometimes the most able to be keyed into a kid's vision issues? We have a student who had glasses, but they broke. For a while we were thinking they were going to be able to be replaced, but it was coming up on six months. And she'd just hit the point where she was really frustrated in class because she couldn't see the board.

So we finally made an appeal on facebook, and people gave over $500 in basically 45 minutes, including what came by check later.

So new glasses for not just one kiddo!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's great, Liese.

That's awesome, Liese.

Facebook is giving me a "become an ultrasound tech" ad, where the picture is one of those freaky cakes with a doll head and limbs.

Aww, RIP Barnabas Collins.

Sad to hear, but I suppose it's kind of nice his final appearance will be a role in Dark Shadows.

Because books.

That's what I thought, Matt! Definitely fitting.
