I washed the dishes before I had coffee.
You totally deserve praise for that.

She recommended I use Flexeril on the off nights to help me get to sleep--she thinks I have built up a resistance to Lunesta and Ambien and hadn't managed to include Flexeril in my shenanigans? *If* it put me to sleep, it's still almost ensured that I'd have a wakeup within a few hours anyway.
Well, yes, you HAVE built up a resistence to Ambien and Lunesta. Dur. So have I. When I was on Vicodin for the goolie-pain, docs were ASTONISHED by my tolerance.
And I would do carols of joy if I could convince my health insurance that yes, I DO nee to take 20 mgs of Ambien nightly. Then I could give up the Xanax. But they're...I dunno, afraid I would die or sell it on the streets? Whatev. I KNOW my body, and I KNOW the research on hypnotics better than most GP's, some sleep docs and for damn sure, than a insurance rep.
I feel ya, sister.
Finally got off my duff and called my insurance company to see if a gastric bypass for diabetic reasons would be covered. Nope. Oh, well.
I got E home from the lock-in at 7:30 this morning. He is still asleep. He is supposed to go to a friend's at 2 to play for a few hours, but I wonder if I should just let him sleep.
Me? I am on my ass in the recliner, catching up on the Olympics.
Well, my timing sucks. Got the yardwork done just in time for a thunderstorm to roll through. Which contraindicates both massive napalm application AND going to the pool right now.
Timelies all!
Posting from the lobby of the Shore Leave hotel.(killing time until the next thing we want to do, which is at 3.)
Is the second season of AD that much funnier than the first, or did I need that much time to get into the headspace? Or the setups--I had previously seen a few of the first episodes, and some of S3, I think--so I think I'm catching setups for stuff that's vaguely familiar.
Must take a break now to call my boss on his private cell in order to get approval for the midnight work tomorrow. Blargh. This could have been all taken care of yesterday, if memories had been more reliable.
I hate being one of the people with the best memories in the room--it's a really low bar to set, and it seems to come with the responsibility to repeat things to other people until they remember--but it's not like they walk around saying "I don't know the details of XYZ" or "I thought ABC was DEF"--I don't usually know they don't remember until it's too late.
Take better notes, people! Evernote changed my life!
Yeah, that's annoying. People know that you remember things (or take good notes) and so they don't bother. I once stopped taking notes on anything that wasn't directly related to me so that people would stop asking me for my notes.

Both, I think. The first episode I ever saw was "Staff Infection," and I thought it was okay. When I watched from the beginning and got to that episode, though, I realized it was hilarious because now I knew the characters, the callbacks, and how the show worked. So I think the more you watch the show, the funnier it gets, period.
The second season does have my least favorite episode, though.
