Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is the second season of AD that much funnier than the first, or did I need that much time to get into the headspace? Or the setups--I had previously seen a few of the first episodes, and some of S3, I think--so I think I'm catching setups for stuff that's vaguely familiar.

Must take a break now to call my boss on his private cell in order to get approval for the midnight work tomorrow. Blargh. This could have been all taken care of yesterday, if memories had been more reliable.

I hate being one of the people with the best memories in the room--it's a really low bar to set, and it seems to come with the responsibility to repeat things to other people until they remember--but it's not like they walk around saying "I don't know the details of XYZ" or "I thought ABC was DEF"--I don't usually know they don't remember until it's too late.

Take better notes, people! Evernote changed my life!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yeah, that's annoying. People know that you remember things (or take good notes) and so they don't bother. I once stopped taking notes on anything that wasn't directly related to me so that people would stop asking me for my notes.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Both, I think. The first episode I ever saw was "Staff Infection," and I thought it was okay. When I watched from the beginning and got to that episode, though, I realized it was hilarious because now I knew the characters, the callbacks, and how the show worked. So I think the more you watch the show, the funnier it gets, period.

The second season does have my least favorite episode, though.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am so dirty and disgusting, but I think I have to go out to get something to eat before I can deal with a shower. That's OK, right? I'll put on deodorant and a fresh shirt.

Because books.

Can we see pictures of the new apartment soon, Jesse? And yay for Homer -- poor old guy. He's had it hard for quite a few weeks.

Maybe? I'm terrible with taking pictures and getting them to the internet, and the apartment really isn't anything to look at anyway, so....

I definitely have furniture to get rid of. I can't quite figure out what, though...It seems wrong to ditch the kitchen table, even though I almost never sit at it. And the coffee table is sort of extraneous, except I really need something to put my feet up on. OMG OMG -- I just got it -- I've been wanting to buy storage ottomans for no good reason! I will ditch the coffee table for those.

OK, that's a start.

Excellent call.

I want new furniture. Our Salvation Army cast-offs are getting grungy(er).

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I need to get rid of furniture too. A desk and a two drawer piece to my component entertainment center are going. Too many drawers to hide Stuff. Stuff I do not need.

Because books.

We also have the biggest, ugliest bookshelves ever, very circa 1973, donated by a friend. I love her, but I want new shelves. Something without fake paneling on the doors. Something with doors, optimally.
