Zoe: Nobody's saying that, sir. Wash: Yeah, we're pretty much just giving each other significant glances and laughing incessantly.

Aw, I like Michael, though not the sharpest speaker in the shed, for sure. Ryan seems a bit of a tool, but is definitely his own person. But I've a soft spot for the local guy whose association with the fancy-pants swim club led it to doing a big swim safety/skills program for local kids in various city camps. And he even showed up for it, not just putting his name on it. Plus, he gorges at the diner not far from me. I hope that in his retirement he continues his community service.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Also, I want one of those jackets. The grey one.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

WTF, announcer guy? On the subject of Gabby Douglas and racism , he just said something like, "All the barriers are long since down, but there are imaginary barriers, about how one sees oneself."

DUDE! I totally just "WTF"-d the tv! Long since the fuck when? Yesterday, when one of the trending things on Twitter were comments on her fucking HAIR??

ARE YOU SERIOUS??

I've got to say, I greatly prefer the Russian choreography for floor routines to the American. I like ballet much more than cheerleader.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm not sure I'm ever going to get my kitchen floor unsticky

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Poor Lee.

I am taping the Olympics because Franny totally wants to see it. And I can recall being a young girl myself and how they always went on long after my bedtime.

Swouncing

Skipping all over, missing yesterday completely, and therefore a whole day late in noting, according to the Buffista Calendar, a double Buffista-anniversary: both Aims and Miracleman's, as well as Scrappy and her DH's. Belated wishes for all of them, for a wonderful year together!

Also, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Deena's birthday. Happy birthday, Deena! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Also also, since I'm worried about the missing-days-of-internet-connection pattern that occurs around here lately, I'll already post that according to the Buffista Calendar, Sunday, the 5th, will be Fred Pete's birthday, and send lots of early wishes for him already!

Have short betteer-than-could-be-expected Fridays and lovely weekends, all!

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Happy birthday, Deena!

I have missed most of the Olympics except by print which is sort of fun. I catch some videos after the fact, for sure.
