The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

at least I don't have to translate things into Korean.

I usually get the opposite question--translating things out of Korean (or Japanese).

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

As it happens, Biyi is good friends with a guy who does Korean translation. (He's one of her former lecturers.)

If only I'd known. Though I am quite certain he'd want no part of this; superfast turnaround of 180 slides of highly technical, industry specific language.

The first meeting was today and the quick feedback I got was that the materials were very helpful. So they must have gotten it pretty much right. But that is not making me less antsy about my total lack of control.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We are having our traditional anniversary dinner of In and Out Burger. We ate there the night we eloped.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

So I think I'm going to have to move trash -- the new place has dumpsters out back, and trash day here isn't until Monday. Is that ridiculous?

I moved six months of recycling four blocks away. If that makes you feel better. Didn't have a bin at the old place.

That is delightful.

I miss Popeye's.

It is pretty good, as fast food goes.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I moved six months of recycling four blocks away. If that makes you feel better. Didn't have a bin at the old place.

Heh. Doing the right thing is HARD.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Our anniversary dinner is steak, herbed red potatoes, and asparagus.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

In the Olympic spirit, here's an article discussing whether peak athletes are reaching the limits of human endurance. [link]

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

What impression did I ever give that I care two shits about metal music? Seriously, have you not been paying attention to my severe lack of related fucks and knowledge? If it's not Alice Cooper, likely I know nothing of it, and rather turn elsewhere for grammar reference.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

God, I'm depressed about my job situation. I want a fairy godmother to appear and give me my dream job.

It's insane when your manager lies about an easily disproved thing, right?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Alice Cooper was the name of the secretary at my middle school Poor lady.
