Oh gosh, I miss Mama Dip's. I took my mother there and discovered a whole side of her I had never seen before (her mother was from Charlottesville and Annapolis, and it turned out my mother grew up eating fried chicken and succotash. Who knew?) Also she met Mama Dip, who was wearing fabulous shoes.

a local place has some cross-cut sweet potato fries that may just be the one true fried starchy vegetable for me.
There's allegedly a restaurant here that makes tots with sweet potatoes. Sweet tater tots. I think I would never stop eating them.

I was doing that earlier in the week, but then all of the extra sleep I got last weekend got used up, and now I am trying to figure out if I can nap at my desk without being disturbed.
