Steph, my current dentist calls the day after to check up on me. The first time I was shocked cause I felt fine and the call made me feel like I shouldn't be feeling fine.

Just cleaned the Lutherins out of the sink. I feel very accomplished. Wish that was the magic cure for the headache, but alas.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Just cleaned the Lutherins out of the sink. I feel very accomplished.

I cleaned them off the benchtop. I shall call it "the Counter Reformation".

I just had lunch with my old boss. Got a lot of gossip about my old office, and it's clear he's very happy about having gotten out. OTOH, he seems to think that the consulting field is entering a slump, and there have been all sorts of layoffs.

Which is bad, since I was assuming I could go back to consulting if this place never gets around to hiring me properly.

AS to: "When you leave grammar, you've gone to the dark side."

It ain't necessarily so. I know "think" is less popular, but it is still right. Sometimes it bes like that.

As to Chic-A-Fil-A not being about freedom of speech. When some mayors and councilcritters threatened to use selective and discramanotry denials of permits as punishment for hate speech, yes it became about free speech. I'm all for boycotting them - that is not about free speech. I will note that the cities where official stepped over the line are all cities that are big into beating the hell out of protestors often ones who turn out not have violated any laws. And also about passing new laws to make formerly legal protests illegal. So those cities are pretty consistently wrong on free speech.

Chick-fil-A is kind of delicious, I'm not going to lie.

I totes agree! I love myself their yummy sandwiches. But no more.

I waited for over an hour at my OB's office. She had an emergency delivery this AM. It would have made me mad, but instead, I just sort of got into a zen place where I didn't mind so much.

hee hee {eta: Phooey, Connie, for getting to COMMA before I could!}

I have never been to Chick-fil-a so I have no idea what I'm missing.

I haven't been cleaning exactly, but I did pack up three bags of stuff for Council Thrift and load up two big moving boxes worth of trash into the garbage and recycling. But this doesn't make me feel accomplished. It makes me feel like I live in a pig sty and am three steps away from being a hoarder who shouldn't have been allowed to breed.

I cleaned the bathroom top to bottom this morning, including mopping before I was supposed to take Noah to camp. Which was awesome until he came home from camp and promptly took off his cleats in the bathroom leaving dirt and grass in there.

Why do I even bother?

Cody is a bit OCD about not wearing shoes in the house, so cleats tend to be removed before entering.
