Chick-fil-A is kind of delicious, I'm not going to lie.

I totes agree! I love myself their yummy sandwiches. But no more.

I waited for over an hour at my OB's office. She had an emergency delivery this AM. It would have made me mad, but instead, I just sort of got into a zen place where I didn't mind so much.

I cleaned them off the benchtop. I shall call it "the Counter Reformation".

I have never been to Chick-fil-a so I have no idea what I'm missing.

I haven't been cleaning exactly, but I did pack up three bags of stuff for Council Thrift and load up two big moving boxes worth of trash into the garbage and recycling. But this doesn't make me feel accomplished. It makes me feel like I live in a pig sty and am three steps away from being a hoarder who shouldn't have been allowed to breed.

I cleaned the bathroom top to bottom this morning, including mopping before I was supposed to take Noah to camp. Which was awesome until he came home from camp and promptly took off his cleats in the bathroom leaving dirt and grass in there.

Why do I even bother?

Cody is a bit OCD about not wearing shoes in the house, so cleats tend to be removed before entering.

BBC announces a new show called "The Musketeers".

I've been boycotting Chick Fil A for years now because of their chronic employment discrimination issues, but I'll admit that it's easier to boycott when I'm the only freak in the south who doesn't like their chicken.

We apparently have the Bay Area's only Chick-fil-a, so there was quite a scene yesterday. Not that I was over that way, but it's in the papers.

I never got the appeal of their chicken, frankly. Just typical crappy mall food court fare, afaic. I used to like the waffle fries, but Carl's Jr has the cross-cut fries that fill that hole nicely.

I give up on trying to avoid Olympics spoilers. I just went to the website for a Jewish newspaper, which is a weekly paper, and they've got current results up for all the sports where there's a Jewish athlete competing. Including several sports where I wanted to wait to see the whole competition.

This morning, Spare Cat starting doing the gagging thing on my desk, so I grabbed a piece of paper and tried to hold it to catch the hairball. Alas, it was all of her breakfast that came out rather explosively, mostly missing the paper, but not my hand or the rest of the desk.

Cats. Me, I don't understand why my cats have never, not once, yakked on a tile floor. Only carpet is fit for barfing on! Hey, maybe I should just cover the whole house in vinyl flooring!
