Not sciencey, but in my totally anecdotal first-person experience, it makes total sense. Executive function/focus/will/whatchamacallit is absolutely a spoon.
Oh, yeah. A lot of spoons in Tim's case. He spends so much energy on executive function at work for 8 hours that when he comes home, he can't just start working on a project. He has to take a nap first or his brain will burst into flame.
