Y'all see the man hanging out of the spaceship with the really big gun? Now I'm not saying you weren't easy to find. It was kinda out of our way, and he didn't want to come in the first place. Man's lookin' to kill some folk. So really it's his will y'all should worry about thwarting.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Maybe it's the Cambridge speaking, but I think the right tunic and capri leggings are totally 62-year-old style.

I do think that's a fine causal look for her age, but this a cocktail party and sit-down dinner for about 30 at a posh retirement community in Annapolis, so I was thinking a little more formal.

Oh, sure -- I wouldn't say it's appropriate for every event! But it does sound like what our 60-something Chief Counsel or whatever her title is wears to work all the time!

I wanted this dress for myself: [link] (They didn't have it in Casper's size, and she wouldn't even consider it.)

She tried this on, and it was darling, but did sort of make her look like a 6 year old: [link] An ADORABLE 6 year old.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

what's up with the strings?

Seriously--that bandeau top flatters two women, and those strings make that a moot point.

I'm sorry to hear your cat is not happy, Jesse.

A tunic and capris could be formal--it depends entirely on the tunic and the capris (my mother or sister would tend to wear Indian shantung silk with embroidery, beading, or sequins).

Punishingly Intricate

Ooh, that dress is cute, msbelle. The URL scared me.

Thanks, y'all. He has never been sick for the 10 years I've had him, so the whole thing is extra disconcerting to me.

I am about to purge my closet. Anything straight and tight through the hips is getting tossed. It is at least 2 suits, 3 skirts, and 2 dresses. Therefore I am looking at potential replacements (which is probably silly, I should just reduce).

The dress is super cute!

I want to order all new plates. I'm in that mood. I want something open stock and simple but I don't want to spend a fortune.

Also, I want a pony.

I went to the dentist for the first time in years today. Complicated by the fact that he's the husband of a friend. So I am all pain in the mouth + shame.
