When you look back at this, in the three seconds it'll take you to turn to dust, I think you'll find the mistake was touching my stuff.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The stuff smeared on their front legs?

I just looked up a couple of the horses online and they don't actually have white markings on their legs, so it has to be something they've put on the front of the horses' legs. Never saw it before. It's white; it's not vaseline.

Art Crawl!!!

Yeah, it's something they do to (supposedly) make them slip over jumps better.

Tina Cook (GB) says the corners are really slippery and that lots of horses are losing shoes.

Art Crawl!!!

One thing has nothing to do with the other by the way.

I wonder why the Italian riders chose to wear black shirts. It seems like a bad option for both historic and summer sun reasons.

Anchor riders for the US and Australia are on course.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

sumi, hope your kitty feels better soon.

Matt Bomer and his family: day improvers.

From way back: Yay Tom! Yes to etsy shop!

I lost all my spoons last week, as well as my only car key in a rain storm (it washed away under another car in the dark). But I found it the next day. I was flattened this weekend and didn't go see Beasts of the Southern Wild like I wanted to.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I know that StyleBlazer.com is the devil, but sometimes I look anyway. I was checking out their "Celebs that are the same age but don't look it", and it's clear that I'm falling behind on pop culture, because I should have known who more of those people were. However, this pair caught my eye, because they could totally be the same age. Which would be ten years younger than their actual age, but definitely could be the same.

Of all the names that I didn't know (I eventually stopped looking people up), Florence Welch was the big one. I have heard the band name a million times, but I hadn't quite processed there really was a Florence (is there a Machine? I don't know these things).

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I don't know what time is good for dcp

We should probably take this to the F2F thread.

My plan is to take a half-day off, so I will be available any time after 11:30.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can't click through that whole piece, but speaking of celebrities who are the same age: Parker Posey and Louis CK, more or less. Which sort of surprised me, but shouldn't have.
