Lydia: Its removal from Burma is a felony and when triggered it has the power to melt human eyeballs. Giles: In that case I've severely underpriced it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I only heard of them when DC and Baltimore ha that big storm a week or two ago. Never before (and I'm Midwestern!)

I had never heard of a derecho either, until one knocked out my power for four days, three weeks ago. Are they becoming more common, or had they just never gotten this far East before? Apparently it's pronounced de-RAY-cho, not to rhyme with Jericho as I had been saying it. I liked my way better.

Rowan Atkinson was funny. Of course! As was the Queen Not Smiling during any of her close-ups. And what the frak is going on now? This whole thing has been like a weird trip.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What filmed bit, Jesse?

The one where the Queen choppered in with James Bond.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I knew the Chick-Fil-A PR head back when I was a reporter. I had no idea he was there for 30 years. He included a coupon for a free sandwich with every press release.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

There have been a lot of film clips. It makes me wonder what the audience in the stadium was seeing.

They have 3d glasses. OMG, this is like every 80s night at the Depot in G'boro!

Jeepers, this retrospective of British popular music is going on a really long time. Sure, there was a lot of it, but do they have to play every single hit single in the last forty years? Damn, I bet the Queen wishes she were home in bed right about now.

I hate commentators. Always have, every Olympics.

Who are the commentators?

I wanted to see the Queen's reaction during the house party at the end. The punk bit was kind of awesome.

Thrive to spite them

One Olympics the commentator for the gymantstics (possibly John Tesh, I'm not sure) kept using "histrionic" instead of "historic."

I only remember this because it sent Dad in near hysterics every time it happened.

I wish they would feel like it was okay to shut up during things.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Matt Lauer and Meredith Viera, on my TV.
