Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

I had paneer tiki masala for dinner and now I'm having a g&t as I watch the opening ceremonies. Didn't intend to be, but oddly appropriate.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't have the right sort of light switches for these, but wouldn't they be cool: [link] ?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I just saw that Numero Cinco quote up there recently, and it made me chuckle. Many quotes I have trouble putting in context now, but that one I can picture pretty clearly

Wow, bon!

A friend in high school ended up with so much metal in her neck (thrown from a car, broke her neck in multiple places, ended up with rods and pins and wire and it's amazing she wasn't paralyzed) she always sets off detectors. She has a card or something.

I suppose they use a metal that you can't attach magnets to. Otherwise, I'd have way too much fun with that.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Yikes, bon! That's a hell of a running injury.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, this filmed bit (from a few minutes ago EDT) is the silliest thing I've ever seen!

Also, have The People gotten used to Camilla yet? I think she and Charles are adorable together. t /really not live-blogging

Isn't it? MR. BEAN!

Frankly, I think every Olympics needs to play the Chariots of Fire soundtrack. I literally wore out my dad's vinyl, I use to listen to it so much.
