Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just had a one-sided "conversation" with the chick behind the counter in the cafe about strip clubs, so no more pain meds for be before I go home. But I can't quite wrap my head around precisely what I need to do before I go...it's frustrating me.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

Wish I could give you a cup of soothing tea and a soft blanket and a quiet place to sit, Hil.

Best wishes for a minimum of jangled nerves and a maximum of understanding and compassion for the friends and strangers around you. (Small math joke -- roll your eyes at me if needed.)

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Yikes, I just spent 40 minutes on the phone with a reporter.

Happily, it's a tiny little local paper and with luck I didn't say anything deeply stupid or anything that she might interpret in a way which is deeply stupid.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hi everybody! I'm back from Hawaii and finally have internet access again. But dang, that island was beautiful.

So sad to hear about Sally Ride. She's such a hero! And yeah, I have a personal grudge against pancreatic cancer.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Burrell! I hope you had an awesome time.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hello, Burrell! Glad you had a good time!

Jilli! [link] I thought of you. Well, after me. But I just bought a pair of flues AND I have my spanish botas, so not this time.

Today was a monday of epic 3:45 on a mondays proportions. I'm afraid I just ran away from work. I'm having a crisis of commitment. Constant crisis mode is doing me in.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Welcome back, Burrell!

I'm feeling melodramatic today.

On the upside -- Grace's new school district? The nursing department does not want to just send a health aide so they are writing a contract with our nursing provider to have our current nurse attend school with Grace. So she will work 10 hour days (oof!) for 50 hrs/week which makes me nervous that she will burn out but thrilled to have someone who knows Grace there.

And at least the school hours won't be full-on one-on-one for the nurse, but she'll get the hours anyway?
