We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Wow, Allyson, lookit that. You're Nathan Fillion in Drive! (Wasn't that a Challenger?)

People, stop asking me for things with a two-week lead when it requires four weeks to get regulator approval! Sigh.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Are you doing a scavenger hunt again this year?

Only two of us are going this year, rather than six. So unless we hook up with another team, probably not. But I have an amazing costume for the Reidell Luau party.

msbelle, if you have any of that stuff in electronic form, I could send it to my sister to look over (corp attorney who handles tons of PR stuff).

KITTENS DOWNSTAIRS!!

Their pictures have been very distracting. I can't imagine the live versions would be less so.

I interview Owen about his first non-stop motion lego movie. [link]

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Nathan drove the Vanishing Point car in Drive.

I can't believe that even exists! It sounds *so* fucking cool. I gotta remember--that for anything any group of people do, there's probably a convention of some ilk for it, where they nerd out and just do it when no one's paying to look. And talk about it forever too.

Don't you remember Jon B.'s Theremin Camp?

Also, Tiki fans have an annual Tiki Oasis in Vegas every year. All Tiki All the time! At least that one comes with a lot of automatic drinking as part of the culture.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My boss hosts a safety razor convention every year.

I am not even joking.

I think there's less shenanigans there than at a roller derby convention or a tiki oasis.

The Black & Blue Ball is like a Roman Bacchanalia.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

When I got my driver's license renewed about 15 years ago and had to go to the DMV, I took a book with me.

I nearly finished that book during the time I was waiting for my 5 minute appointment. IN-SANE.
