I'm going to see to Wesley, see if he's still whimpering.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh, god, Jilli, I'm sorry. You know you look fantastic, right? Your Goth at the Office don't only showcase your wonderful clothes, they also are examples of Jilli Looking Fantastic.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Thank you, -t. Shockingly, my Body Image Demons are being pretty quiet about this whole thing, which I'm taking as a sign that my emotional and mental health is pretty good right now.

Plus, really? If that's the most "hurtful" thing anonymous haters on the internet can come up with to throw at me, oh noes.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I like the what the day of the week says about your date: [link]

But I do think that decaf, in general, should indicate someone who can wake up their damned selves. Why is it a milquetoast joke?

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm pretty amused by it, really.

Good. People like that are far too ridiculous to take seriously.

Re: gifts. I need to remember to tell my brother not to buy me gifts anymore but instead cook for me when he has time.

Oh, god--I just remembered that the exceedingly sweet nurse (not to be mistaken for the other exceedingly sweet nurses, or the really nice nurse that came in and gave me my third dose and the first advice about my sister's gift) deliberately went and found me a Daffy Duck bandaid. I don't want to take it off now. It's possible I have a crush on half the ER.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

It would be worth starting a Tumblr to post odes to Jilli's hottitude, kindness, intelligence, humor, and fashion sense.

ita !, does she have a favorite animal? Birthstone? Pop culture character? Book? A shared childhood memory? Pop any one of those into an etsy search and see what comes up.

The problem with gifts for my sister is that I kinda buy them as they come up, especially the sentimental ones. I see something from our childhood, and I get it for her without hesitation.

However...I'm thinking a thing I've been part of a couple times...having all of us get T-shirts of her. Colin's GF did that for his 30th, and my tennis cousin's family did that for a random holiday for her. My sister totally does T-shirts (by which I mean, gets me to do) for people all the time. We could have one shirt pattern for all of us, and then one for her....

This idea might be so fucking brilliant that I can't actually pursue it to completion. But maybe I could hand it over to a friend or relative with more spoonage...

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

And the post mentioned me in the same sentence as Robert Smith, so I think my GothCred went up a notch or two.

Are you sure it is not Robert Smith's GothCredit that got a boost?
