These are tickets I can't arrange myself or they'd probably be bought (we need to do the whole group together and the cc I share with them has a limit below what 6 fricking tickets to AUS are gonna cost, go figure. I could use mine, I guess, but it's easier to just go along for the ride here.)
But no way am I making this trip hopping a domestic to international in one same-day connection when I can see friends too!

[link] This is the tour. Some variations are being made because we're such a large group with 2 little kids. I'd like to get some basic scuba instruction beforehand so I'm comfortable (hahah, I'm not used to open water, just have to hope I can get used to the kit) diving the GBR.
(I still can hardly believe we are doing this. But the boys have their passports!)

Wow! I didn't realize it was for the eclipse. I have all of the happy for you jealousies.
I have all of the laundry in the dryer now. Day accomplished.
Also I thought I was being freakishly overheated just in my body because I was out until just after noon today and it was gorgeous. Except, apparently, it also heated up sometime late in the day. So it's not me being overheated, it's actually much warmer than I thought.
Someone less delicate should Google Hot Honeys and tell me what the hell they are selling as a Nascar sponsor. I mean, it can't be anything that isn't family friendly, right? Surely porn can't be on the hood. I mean, Perky Jerky wasn't porn. Even though it sounds like a twink jack off flick, I think it was just caffeinated meat.

My family uses solar eclipses as an excuse to go to interesting places. It is kind of a Thing. So far: APO (ok, not exotic, and a partial,) southern Africa, Mongolia, Nepal and Bhutan and now Australia. My parents trip to Peru and my other travels are independent of orbital happenstance.
