For all I know I'm one of the people acting like a royal idiot (whether or not I have been a reasonable person is not in evidence), but still...people are just accusing other people of random shit left right and centre.

The pictures on the Rookie tumblr have been adorable. Some of the meetups have been pretty small, but all I can think is that if I were one of the girls going, I'd be thrilled to have more one-on-one time with Tavi and the others.

Really, if I can get the clothes in the washer into the dryer, I am calling it a day. It's not even hot but I am just done. Actually, I think washer is done, I ought to do that right now. Any second now.

I am either dumb or really optimistic because I just threw another load of laundry in. It'll mean everything but the clothes I am wearing will be clean. But it means one more chance to forget to put them in the dryer.

She was adorable. She spoke to the whole group over at Dolores Park and she was so composed and confident (and cute). She told them all about her Norwegian grandmother and this troll-lullaby-song she used to sing to her. So she taught everybody how to do the Troll Lullaby song!

Some stranger on tumblr just asked if ita was really my name. I shouldn't be answering that shit, but since it's only just now occurred to me to ask my parents which one of them made it up, I figured I'd go ahead and satisfy his curiosity.

I do not expect my parents to remember, though. It's not the sort of thing they keep track of. Basically nothing to do with our childhood is the sort of thing they keep track of. I think they were just waiting for us to be able to earn a paycheque, and up until that was a blur. Which, in my sister's case--almost 30 years.

I spent an hour on the phone home, mostly telling my mother about the work meltdown. She seems to think there's any position in corporate America where I won't answer to anyone, but I also won't manage anyone and it fits my skill set. I don't know why she keeps believing this. But she wants to fix shit, and is now pretty convinced my boss is insane and someone has to be sleeping with someone. Which...just so worlds of no.

So, this Excedrin thing -- is it just the Migraine designation that they stopped? Because that had the same ingredients as the regular old Extra Strength Excedrin. That's still out there, right? I ask because it is what I use.
