So, what if you worked differently from 8 to 5?
I am not sure if you are a morning person or evening, but if you started work at 7, you probably could avoid most of it. BTW, why can't you drive to BART/Caltrans and take that in?

And I guessing since it out in PA there is no public transport that would make it worth it? Maybe negotiate the telecommute to 3 days? If you were looking for any advice at all. Which you might not have been. In which case, I'll shut it.
Brave was awesome. t random
le nubian, BART and Caltrain don't work at all for my commute, unfortunately. I'm not near pub trans on my end and the company is nowhere near Caltrain. It would be a 3 hour commute each way taking pub trans.
Well EFF THAT.
Tonight I'm going to see a dance performance by a troupe a friend is in, if I can motivate to leave the house.
Aroo? (which autocomplete wanted to make "Arlo." heh)
damn.
another note: did you know that in some juridictions, it is illegal to rent out your home for less than 1 month at a time?
And damn it - Rookie was totally in Ann Arbor on June 28 and I missed it. Sunuvbeech.
Aye it was lassie!
Mom update: She is feeling and sounding better although she is in the hospital at least until Monday. They are leaning towards pneumonia, but are still not sure and may do a lung biopsy on Monday if the mass in her lung doesn't diminish.
Me Update: Husband gets home from a week away tomorrow. I have skating and, yes, working at my goshdarn office. Possibly seeing Spiderman on Sunday night.
The thing is, right now I only commute when it's necessary to be onsite for a client (which is usually only one day, working around traffic times), and I am paid for the commute time. Otherwise I am working from home and have zero commute, which means a lot more time to just, you know, actually enjoy my life. I feel like in the last 6 months, I've learned to finally relax. I'm reading a lot more, seeing friends a LOT more, have time for my dogs, and have lots of time to garden. Going back to spending 10+ hours a week sitting in traffic is just not appealing. But it's a good opportunity, so I am weighing all options.
