Jesse, my vet got me in touch with a mail order pharmacy that can take most common cat medicines and compound them into yummy cat treats. It doesn't work for all drugs, since some things need to be coated so they don't get absorbed right away, or would react badly with the food material, but for the ones that it does, it's a godsend. Pricier than just the regular pills, but then it's not just the convenience you're paying for, it's making sure your cat gets the medicine inside of him.

I cannot recommend Northwest Compounders www.northwestcompounders.com/ enough if you go this route. They are actually near me (currently) but mailed most of the meds anyway. Superfast and helpful even figuring out which flavors were most palatable with each med (oil or water suspensions and stuff). You can refill online and they'd (if you want) keep your address and payment on file.

Kittenish would not do pills. But the compounded liquids were pretty easy because she couldn't really spit them out. Needle-less syringe and presto.

Sorry for going on about it, people-who-don't-care.

I care!!! I was totally traumatized this winter trying to get Swifty to take a bunch of pills that were meant to maybe stop him from seizuring. He also was a basically easy-going cat but SO BAD at pills. And he didn't have many teeth. You'd think it would have been easier to stuff pills in him. But it wasn't.

If he likes people food, I'd try the hiding pills in that trick.
