Hmm. It's sounds like the finest party I can imagine getting paid to go to.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Naked athletes (male and female). You're welcome. [link]

I wasn't actually feeling my birthday this year. It wasn't good or bad, I just didn't feel like it was worth noting (it doesn't help that I actively dislike the number 37. Not the age, the actual number. I find I have Opinions on Numbers. Factoring everything up to 72 gives me plenty of time to contemplate how I feel about numbers. I don't like 53 or 43 either, but so far only 47 competes with 37 in terms of dislike.) ANYWAY, that's why I volunteered to babysit (G made me a card, aw) and didn't mention it (much) and there's a funny: opening the presents my parents sent, I got the usual (awesome-pearls on silver pendanty things) earrings and my thought was "Damn, I need to ask for a new earring rack cause I think I'm out of space and I get at least a pair an occasion." And then I opened the next box and it was a new earring rack, wood, stained dark. And a copy of Cokie Roberts' We Are Our Mother's Daughters . I laughed and laughed. Need to figure out where to hang it, I might need to rearrange my jewelry racks, cause I want them together but I don't have room where the current one is, and it can't be cat accessible...

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Naked athletes (male and female). You're welcome.

Why, thank you.

Glad you ended up laughing on your birthday, sarameg!

brillig

If I was a naked surfer, I'd be very, very worried about rough seabottoms.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Megan Hodge! The volleyball player? That's Mike-from-work's daughter, smonster.

AWESOME.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

5'11 137lbs? I...nope. I could never be an athlete at that size. My arms would not be that small if I played tennis regularly. That's not how my body responds to exercise. Then there's the football player at 5'7 and 200+ lbs. DAYUM. That's some power. Not entirely sure how to parse the stats of the rower, and her quote is totally alien. Wow. So does that mean she rows without legs?

In pics like those, do the guys have themselves tucked away in some sort of strapless jobbie, or is there a risk of tackle spray at any time?

I mostly slept all day. I wish I felt significantly better.

If you're a surfer who's getting intimate with the seabottom, rough or smooth, you're having a pretty bad go of it.
