The dinner I kinda threw together turned out pretty good. Orzo, roasted asparagus and onion, turkey kielbasa, freshly-made pesto, and chopped tomato.

I've barely made a dent in the giant bag of basil.

A friend and I had a last minute dinner (love that she lives just a few blocks away) and discussed OKCupid--weirdly, though she and I are very similar, and usually see the same people show up, we never ever see each other suggested. It's very strange.

Skipping (on the other side of not just grading, but also loss of internet connection due to construction done around here - they sometimes shut our water, sometime our internet, sometimes both together, and then I imagine the little electrons holding meetings with water-drops discussing the changes in their working conditions. Um, where was I? Oh, yeah) because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Sox' birthday.
