A friend and I had a last minute dinner (love that she lives just a few blocks away) and discussed OKCupid--weirdly, though she and I are very similar, and usually see the same people show up, we never ever see each other suggested. It's very strange.
Skipping (on the other side of not just grading, but also loss of internet connection due to construction done around here - they sometimes shut our water, sometime our internet, sometimes both together, and then I imagine the little electrons holding meetings with water-drops discussing the changes in their working conditions. Um, where was I? Oh, yeah) because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Sox' birthday.

Also, due to the abovementioned internet problems, I've missed last week the opportunity to wish happy birthday to sj, and a happy anniversary to Beverly, so my apologies and deepest wishes for both.
Also also, since I have no idea what connection to the outside world we'll have tomorrow, I'll post alsreay that according to flea "If the Apocalypse Comes, Beep Me" Jul 11, 2006 2:48:26 pm PDT tomorrow, the 11th, will be Dillo's birthday, and send already early wishes to him, his mom, older sister, and all their family. How can he be such a big boy already?

Good morning, early crowd! Happy birthday to sarameg and Sox, if I saw right on Facebook.
I am already on a plane, waiting to take off. Had a lovely evening last night, but staying up past midnight and then getting up at 4:15 was probably poor planning that I will feel very soon. Which is bad because I have work I need to complete tonight (after working all day). Sigh. But my room is clean! And my laundry is done!!
