Young Anne is a scrapper. And a red-head. I say Anne.
I too will be working from home today. I'm editing a manual for rugby workouts.
Who here has played rugby or has rugby knowledge?
Laura. Ann would get distracted and start composing a poem about the fight. Whereas you recall how Laura dealt with Eliza Jane when she messed with her little sister, don't you?
Strix, you want to talk to smonster and Vortex.
Many belated thanks for the birthday happies. I was up in Maine for most of last week on vacation and have only just caught up (on this thread he says eyeing Bitches wearily).
Also belated birthday happies to sj.
Congrats to Tom and Jesse on their respective good news!

Was having MA be an elephant meant ironically or was it just willfully perverse?
Thanks, Tom! I was thinking smonster, but couldn't recall who else.
HI! Vortex!
Whereas you recall how Laura dealt with Eliza Jane when she messed with her little sister, don't you?
Laura whaled on a teacher? I totally don't remember that ep.
No way man, that Anne is scrappy.
Until Anne of Ingleside, ITA, but Book 6 made her insipid.
Laura didn't beat up Eliza Jane. The incident I was thinking of was when Carrie was punished by having to rock the school bench with a loose bolt, and Laura came to help and got all wild and violent (the illustration in the book was very impressive!)
I had forgotten that! Laura kicked A!
Okay, so Anne would have the edge in a verbal battle, but a physical tussle definitely goes to Laura.
