The organizers sent out an e-mail last night saying that due to the risk of people bursting into flame, the reunion location is being moved to the air-conditioned convocation center of some local church.

I was actually trying to figure out what I could wear that would make the ice-pack trick practicable (since wearing a corset to the family reunion might be a bit much). I hadn't worked anything out, and then Tim got the e-mail. I was starting to wonder if I could just buy a block of ice and sit on it.

It is! I wouldn't live anywhere they allow undergrads, but this place won't take a guarantor for anyone.
Neither my apartment AC nor our work AC can keep up with the heat. This makes me cranky.

My head is throbbing and it's making me nauseous. Bleh. I know I have no right to complain about my wussy little headaches, but I hate waking up with one. Oh well. I have coffee and laundry is started.

Our heat is supposed to break by Monday; I think the high is supposed to be 85 on Monday. And it's amusing that 85 sounds like heaven.
It might hit 80 on Sunday according to my weather app forecast. Quick, move here and you can surely steal someone's home while we are all in the malls and movies complaining that 80 is way too hot. (seriously, someone on my fb was bitching that it was still 60 at 11pm and that was too warm. What??)
