Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck, Tom!

msbelle, Buffistas totally have your back!

You guys, I just put another application in on an apartment, and it seems kind of awesome. Right in the middle of Harvard Square, but second floor in the back, in a building that doesn't take students at all, AND $150/month less than I'm paying now. Please god let me get this place.

Because books.

Jesse, that sounds awesome. All fingers crossed.

Sophia, go see him! I bet it's very mellow and sweet -- that seems to be his thing now, very folky, homey singer-songwriter stuff.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

That sounds like it could be an excellent location, Jesse.

Good luck!

And good luck to you, Tom.

Matilda's off to camp. Next week is her last and I'll have to wrangle her through the rest of July. Emmett's got an all-star game tonight, and a tournament (slightly different - and better - team) this weekend. He's getting close to hitting some home runs on the big boy fields.

Oh! And I'm going to Pittsburgh in August for my college roommate's wedding! I couldn't afford to go, but my best man, Alex, (also a friend) is picking up the ticket and we're traveling together. So it's a two-fer in that I get to see Chip and his family, and also hang out with one of my oldest friends.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

The bathroom is tiny, but the kitchen is good, and the closets are big. I really hope I get it!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Good luck, Jesse!

Ha! I didn't even think of that -- I always do on my way to a job interview, though...

I had queso and chips for lunch to celebrate and now I feel gross. Next, to the library and post office and stuff.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This month I actually remembered to drop off my rent cheque on time, but I also managed to write the wrong amount. Thank goodness my cheque book has carbons, because I could doublecheck and see that I had paid them $500 less than, you know, last month. I hope the second envelope doesn't confuse the apartment manager. God knows I was confused.

My mother asked me to nag her about a favour she's doing for me (I need a copy of my birth certificate because they've upped the paperwork requirements for passport renewal, and for some reason I can't get one online or over the phone--I need a Birth Entry Number, whatever the fuck that is.

Thing is, I can't remember to nag her, so I'm setting a repeating task in Astrid to remind me to remind her.

This effort smacks of too many steps.
