A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Short break to take an ibu for my arm. I am busting pages! I have till 5 and then I am going to the BBQ. WHERE I WILL DRINK ALL THE SANGRIA.

AIFG! (which is, yes, "And it's fucking GREAT!"

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Yeah, I do get offended when people tell me they could never be attracted to a disabled person, because a few on OKC went on about how gross they find the thought, or conversely, that they are using the thought of dating me to prove their bravery, or openness or lack of superficiality. Nobody needs that. But it isn't that I think I'm so gorgeous. If people are going places and hearing "Transwomen...yuck," a lot I feel bad, but desire is both simple and complicated.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

My favorite (in motion) was the guy with the orange t-shirt and fleur de lis on his jeans.

I agree.

Ok, I've eaten something for the first time today and downed something like 4 liters of water. Time to marinate in bug spray and go do yardwork. Uhg.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Crap, I still don't feel that good. And I'm really committed to fireworks. Maybe I can just meet them late.

I'm going to Ikea as soon as some of my clothes are dry. I feel bad that they're open regular hours. Also, the big blue Ikea bags make awesome laundry totes. And only $0.60. I'm buying a couple more today. My life, she is so exciting.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oooo, I have a Groupon for a mani-pedi. I wonder if they're open today.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

It was crappy and rainy this morning, so we ditched our beach plans and went to the Natural History Museum instead to let the kids run around under the giant whale. Then we got Shake Shack for lunch and the guy refunded my money because we waited half an hour for our food (after ordering, I mean, not in line). And then I put the money in my pocket and somewhere on the way back to the museum terrace it fell out, so I wound up paying for lunch anyway, kind of. Probably won't see live fireworks tonight since the Hudson river isn't really visible from anywhere in Brooklyn. (There are smaller fireworks at Coney Island we could go to, but I don't feel like fighting the crowds in this weather.)
