Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Matt--it's apparently Jack Armstrong? This kid embraced puberty by looking at pictures of Lincoln wrestling? I'm assuming no one wants to sit next to him during the vampire hunter movie.

I think the only lens through which you can view this guy is clearly labeled "douchecanoe".

Grr! I overhear him telling our manager that I coopted him for my rearchitecture project and he wanted to know what that meant.

WRONG PROJECT FOOL. I told you if you needed a development environment it was down, and the resource allocated to bring it back up was otherwise spoken for. THIS IS NOT THE PROJECT YOU'RE COMPLAINING YOU KNOW NOTHING OF. And "Hey, if you really want dev up, you're welcome to fix it yourself" is not me giving you work to do. And since you can't tell one project from the other, I don't think you need to be working on either of them in any capacity.

The mousepad on my laptop is broken. I don't have a setup with enough room to use a mouse. How many million dollars will it cost to repair? Grr.

If you find the answer, please share. I have the same issue with my personal laptop. I have adapted to using a mouse with it, but I'd rather get the pad working again. Actually, in my case, the pad itself is fine, it is the buttons that have stopped clicking.

Ugh. I am all against anti-trans sentiment, but the fool in the comments here is making me want to smack her. For the love of god, I'm allowed to not like dick. If that makes me a horrible anti-trans person then so be it.

I so want a vodka gimlet with ginger syrup. Or to find a local bar that will make that for me.

Javachik, let's find a local bar who will do that.

Except not tonight, because I just had a homemade Pisco sour, and I clearly make them too strong.

Also, why isn't Falling Skies a better show? t whines

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Or to find a local bar that will make that for me.

Try the Hotsy Totsy in Albany. That might not be particularly local for you.

Or the Alembic in the Haight?

Still not very close.

Downtown Oakland has some cocktailian bars...

Oh, god, that sounds amazing.

It is SO good. I make my own syrup, then strain out the slices of ginger, sprinkle them with sugar and use them to garnish the glass (homemade candied ginger, basically). A little extra effort, but I'm worth it.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

While there had been strain on the marriage, the final straw was finding out he had been molesting their daughter.

How truly awful. I am sorry.

"No--the carnitas burrito, but no meat no beef no chicken."

He's aware that this is NOT carnitas, no? I mean, clearly not. But wow. He's not bright and I am shocked he can function in a real job.

I would like all of the cocktails tonight. Preferably the delicious ones. But I am not going to be picky right now.

I'm thinking of breaking into my stash of Fernet.

when I don't feel like the effort, my quick cocktail is bourbon and San Pelligrino lemon soda. The tanginess of the lemon and the sweetness of the bourbon are lovely.
