And there seems to be an ongoing battle on tumblr between trans* women and radical feminists.
That's deeply entrenched from the 70s. One of the things that came up with Adrienne Rich's death (she was very radfem/anti-trans).

Key to the radfem side of things is that if you've ever had a penis, you're threatening to those who haven't. I can't get all the way there.
Kinda' reminds me of the argument that bisexual women take lesbian energy and give it to men.
Also, there was some lesbian event in Madison where some lesbians didn't want bisexual women there because by their very presence, bisexual women would make lesbians less safe.
