A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

Because books.

Thanks, ladies.

Husband has to find a new job, we're going to have to move, and now I have the urge to throw out half of everything in the house.

If you're going to move, it's not a bad idea. I hope he can find something soon, too.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Well, what I mean is that I want half of the stuff in the house to disappear without my having to put out any effort.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

However, I am wondering if they have given reasons for hating cis women?

The tumblrs I was reading were very much stating that there was no such thing as a cis self-defined trans* ally. I'm guessing the incidence of women claiming solidarity was higher than men doing so, and that's where the vitriol was levelled. I couldn't tell where some of these women that were being quoted went wrong, but the point is that I can't, can I?

And there seems to be an ongoing battle on tumblr between trans* women and radical feminists. Blood drawn, and bones broken, the whole shebang. I just landed on the radfem side of it today.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Thanks, Zenkitty!

Dana, if you don't mind sharing, what's your DH's field, again? My org has a number of openings, and the amount of crazy has gone down to standard background noise levels here in the past year. If you want to email me (contact address is good) for more info, that's fine. While not as Buffista-licious as some cities, there are several of us here.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Aargh. I have lost a pocket. It is the last thing I need to do. It was in My hand and now it is gone.

information libertarian

Well, what I mean is that I want half of the stuff in the house to disappear without my having to put out any effort.

I want this to happen, and I'm not even planning to move anytime soon.

Could it start with the children's horrible plastic toys, please?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I have lost a pocket.

That is not something you hear everyday.

But conflict wasn't the only thing I discovered today. I also discovered this cosplayer: [link] (comic-realistic-boobage abounds) who's pretty damned amazing at just about everyone she's dressed up as.

That site also sells prints, and she accepts full on plain old donations--half goes to Heroes Initiative, half funds her cosplay habit.

Again, why am I not asking for money for simply being as fabulous as I clearly am? More importantly, Jilli--monetise monetise sell pictures of yourself monetise.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

And there seems to be an ongoing battle on tumblr between trans* women and radical feminists.

That's deeply entrenched from the 70s. One of the things that came up with Adrienne Rich's death (she was very radfem/anti-trans).

I'm reading a discussion about LED lifespan and I had to blink at this for a couple of seconds.

I'm still very spectacle about the whole life cost

If that's not autocorrect it's a bizarre mistake to make.
