"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, that sounds super awesome. I think I have everything at home to make that except the ginger syrup. I feel that I need ginger syrup in my life.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I feel that I need ginger syrup in my life.

Do you have ginger in your life? You can just dump in a bunch while making simple syrup and there ya go.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Lights just came on across the street! I hope this means my Y opens tomorrow (in addition to my neighbor's comfort!)

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Posting from one of the open filk rooms at Concertino in lovely Boxborough, Mass. I'm pretty sure our house lost power yesterday, but we won't be home until Monday. I hope the cats have retreated to the basement. Also hoping we won't find a fridge full of spoiled food when we get home.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I had mediocre Chipotle for dinner, but I did get to see this: [link] If it plays near you, YOU MUST GO SEE IT.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Dinner, huh? I think I forgot.

Reading a magazine at the ER. I think I've worked out where my sleep psychologist got her degree. Same place this doctor did:

Think about being sad or upset. Where in your body do you feel that? Yes, your heart.

Thanks Glamour magazine.
