I feel for all the cat problems.
I still have to clean off my box fan where Dean hairballed all over it.
As soon as it gets hot he gets extra affectionate. He should be like this in Jan or Feb when it's cold. And I would appreciate his extra warmth. Not when it's nearly 90 outside and I have no a/c!
This morning he was trying to be affectionate/get comfortable. So he was walking over me, laying on me, laying beside me, pawing at my face. I kept thinking "if I'm still maybe he'll go away" and then he started making hairball noises right next to my head. I had a horrible vision of him puking on my face so I grabbed him and put him on the vinyl in the kitchen. He didn't do anything but I have a feeling if I hadn't moved I would have a disgusting story to tell.
104?
106
Loki had a chance to wander around outside today, so of course I cleaned up barf within 15 minutes of coming in.
My neighbor is now napping upstairs. He didn't sleep well last night (hot, had to be up early) so he's taking what he can get. Heh.
Ginger,
not on. uh uh.
I am going to call Stephanie's dog sitter, dog shitter.
Athens GA yesterday recorded the highest temp ever, since they started in 1898: 109. I'd say I'm glad we weren't there, but it was still 102 in Cincinnasti. [Ha, that typo stays!]
I see the Weather Channel has the record at 109. It's still 105 now.
It's down to 102° here, but was around 106° earlier today. I passed on exercising in favor of living until tomorrow.
I couldn't go out anyway. It's a code red smog alert creeping towards "extremely unhealthy," which is hell on the asthma.
